Consulting
Companies often find themselves looking for consultant services when faced with questions on how to get going in a specific situation. They may have recognised some areas where their in-house competence or thinking is lacking. You may find consulting useful when developing a new service or product, for example. Together, we can analyse your market potential, plan your development process in phases and look for solutions for the different stages of implementation. You can also use a consultant when you are unsure about your development needs. Get a consultant to help you investigate your situation if you feel that your operations are not profitable, don’t make sense to you or you’ve lost your motivation. We have a great track record in finding answers to such questions through working together with companies.
As an external expert, we bring our competence to your development process and help you look at things in a new light and focus on development. We provide consultation on topics such as:
- business development for SMEs
- building products out of services and putting benefits into words
- software requirements specification, competitive tendering and implementation of information system projects.
Facilitation
Facilitation enables meetings and workshops to reach their goals and makes sure every participant’s voice is heard. We plan and guide the workshop process of teams. The help provided by an external consultant will make work more effective and easier, in contexts such as:
- the strategy process
- team building days
- creating a development roadmap for a company or a team.
Paju is the Finnish word for a willow tree or wicker. So why is our company’s name Paju? Paju is a natural, sustainable and flexible material. Our services and operating models can be shaped or bent like wicker. This restrained and persistent bending allows us to create the best outcomes.
Customer testimonials
“The best part of the process was compiling the views of members of the Ponsse community with different roles in the company. The workshops offered enough time to discuss issues more broadly; we often focus on individual issues in our daily operations. Paju facilitated the workshops with a determined approach and got everyone involved. I was able to focus on generating ideas and participating in discussions as Jenni was the one guiding the work.
Merja was focused on documenting the workshop and asking questions to find out more details. Paju recorded the development ideas and provided us with clear summaries that allowed us to continue working on the topic.
This was a good service. I’d like to thank Paju for such smooth cooperation!”
Tapio Honkanen, Logistics Manager, Ponsse
“At KCT, the workshop helped the organisation create a uniform vision through a fun and relaxed approach. We reached the goals set for the day 100% and the facilitation stirred a new interest among our employees in the organisation’s projects and the implementation of our strategy.
The workshop carried out for the FinVector HR team provided us with an opportunity to take a break from our otherwise busy schedules and spend time developing ourselves and our work processes. The themes created a lot of discussions and the facilitation enabled us to find new perspectives. After the session, our team was equipped with self-management tools and new collaboration practices.
We were extremely satisfied with Paju Consulting and Jenni. Our cooperation worked well right from the get-go, from planning to implementation, all of it in two languages. Jenni could easily understand our needs and the sessions even surpassed our expectations. Jenni’s positive energy and committed personal style also encouraged our staff to immerse themselves in the themes set for the sessions.”
Johanna Pantsar, HR Director Finvector & KCT
“Our expectations were high, but Paju exceeded them in many ways. They had great ideas and were clearly experienced in organising these kinds of workshops. I was repeatedly surprised by how well and easily the work was proceeding. We received positive feedback from those participating in the roadmap project and wish to continue working with Paju in the future.
I recommend Paju’s services for all organisations that struggle to find time and a systematic approach to carrying out roadmap-like projects. These projects are often something you just have to get done and it is challenging to implement them in the proper form on your own. This cooperation was immensely helpful to us.”
